I'm an engineer by training — a master's in computer science — and I've spent over a decade building trading and market-analysis technology. In 2012 I co-founded Trade Vectors, a markets-technology firm that builds custom trading and research software. I also teach algorithmic trading for established institutions.
Mutual fund distribution is where I bring that same analytical mindset to ordinary investors. The ARN (ARN-285860) is held in my personal name, and I handle this distribution work myself.
Why I do this differently
Over years in the markets I kept meeting people who had invested in mutual funds for a decade and had no idea whether it had actually worked — whether their funds had beaten a benchmark, or even inflation. Most had simply been sold a SIP. I wanted to offer the opposite: someone who explains things in plain English, starts from your goal, and treats you as capable of making your own informed decisions.
The markets-technology background
The analytical discipline I bring comes from Trade Vectors, where my team and I build systematic, data-driven tools for understanding markets. That firm is a separate technology business — you can read about it at tradevectors.com. Here, that background simply means I look at mutual funds and markets analytically, and I explain what I see.
What I am — and am not
I'm an AMFI-registered Mutual Fund Distributor. I help you understand and invest in mutual funds, and I earn a commission from the fund houses when you do — never a separate fee from you. I'm not a SEBI-registered Investment Adviser or Portfolio Manager, I don't manage your money, and every decision is yours.
